You may know by now my business is centered around my home based welding services. Welding is my passion. For 25 years I dreamed of my own welding business. This year I decided to make my dream a reality.
Many years ago I realized I would need undisputed provable skills and certifications to earn my little niche in the local market. So I studied, took advanced courses, practiced and applied what I learned to my work in the manufacturing field until I had the big chip on my shoulder.
The next thing I needed were the right tools. Little by little I acquired the basics, like grinders for finishing, drills, hammers, and chisels of all sizes...etc. Then one summer about a decade ago I bought a Lincoln Arc Welder with the intention of making it pay for itself in a couple of years. One of my first projects saved me $150.00 in parts cost when the transmission linkage broke on my vehicle. A few lawn mower repairs for neighbors who knew I had a welder paid back the initial investment by the 2nd summer. Flux core welding is ok,but next came the MIG kit so I could include stainless steel as a friend's butcher shop utilizes a lot of stainless in meat packing industry. I've worked many a project for my friend's business at pretty cheap prices to gain extra curricular projects like cattle gates, corral panels, a deer skinner, and other repairs as needed.
As my reputation grew, so did my connections. It seems everybody sooner or later needs someone to weld something for them, but what are their options? Take the broken pieces to a shop and hope not to get charged the standard $75.00/hr. labor fee? yea right! That fee is there for a reason, most likely the hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in equipment and overhead. Sometimes if you know someone who welds for a living you can get them to invest their time for a favor or a 12 pack and a $20.00 bill, but they will use the boss's electricity and wire under the table and that's just not right unless you have an agreement or permission to work after hours with the employer in advance. I've done that myself on larger projects that weren't related to work. I built my 7' X 12' wagon over 3 weekends this way, off the boss man's ol' time clock if you know what I mean. It can make you a few extra dollars on the side that you can then use to purchase your own equipment.
Of coarse I welded my own tables and benches out of re purposed steel, not much investment there. It's kind of funny how worth lees me tel objects can become something totally different when you become the master of metal. For instance an old metal security door turns into a nice bench top simply by removing the hardware and plugging the hole with a small circular patch welded in place and ground flush. My point is when you want to you can always find something to weld, who hasn't dreamed of creating a project that reflects your efforts and skill? My buddy built his stereo boom box into his toolbox and of coarse I had to build a bigger one into mine! I even had to build two extra cabinets onto my toolbox for the tower speakers, just so I could drown out his polka music when I wanted to hear rock'n'roll.

Thank you for contacting me regarding Hate Crime legislation. I appreciate hearing from you and would like to take this opportunity to address your concerns.
Hate crimes occur when a person willfully causes bodily injury to another person based on the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation or disability of the person being targeted. In 1993, the United States Supreme Court unanimously recognized the severity of this type of crime in comparison to other crimes, noting the likelihood of hate crimes to provoke retaliatory crime and cause community unrest.
I support efforts to pass federal hate crimes legislation to create enhanced penalties for those who commit hate crimes. On April 29, 2009, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1913, which allows the Attorney General to provide technical, forensic, prosecutorial or other assistance in the prosecutions of violent crimes motivated by prejudice. This bill includes language that emphasizes that the Act should not be misconstrued as affecting constitutional protections like the freedoms of speech or religion.
Senator Edward Kennedy (D-Massachusetts) introduced a companion bill, S. 909 on April 28, 2009. This piece of legislation was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which I am a member, and that Committee has held hearings on the legislation on June 25, 2009. This legislation was then proposed as an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for FY2010, S.1390. This amendment also includes language to prevent any impact on constitutional protections. The Senate debated the Hate Crime amendment, Senate Amendment 1511, for two days before voting to end debate on July 16, 2009. I voted in favor of ending this debate and cloture was invoked by a vote of 63-28. The amendment was then agreed to by unanimous consent and adopted.
Assertions that the legislation protects those with sexual disorders, including pedophilia, are incorrect. Current laws to punish those who sexually abuse children are not altered under this bill. Concerns have also been raised about the definition of the term sexual orientation. U.S. Code and Federal Sentencing guidelines use this unambiguous term to refer homosexuality, heterosexuality or bisexuality. I hope you find this information helpful.

This bill, (now LAW) does nothing but ASSAULT my Constitutional rights as a GOD fearing Christian! How can you exempt Christians from being victims while silencing them!
Somehow, I feel this history lesson response or form letter is an inadequate answer. If God tells me something is an abomination like a behavior or choice and that he hates it himself in his own Words, and I think he's right that we should hate that, you can now convict someone because you think they thought that? Now I wonder who are the thought police?

How many started out in this electronic wonderful Internet marketing world with expectations of silver and gold? I did! I would venture to say almost all of us did!
It usually starts with one well worded email letter and a click to a link to learn more and get a free gift! The next thing you know, you have some ebooks downloaded and now, you have everything you need to know to be rich!
Ya Right!, after you start reading into the book a few chapters you loose your focus and start thinking thoughts like auto-responder?, logos?, SEO, up=line?, list? Spam? what's spam? why must I research my keywords?
The days are not long enough when you consider learning how to do something as you discover it should have been done before you got this far! One of my 1st ebooks didn't even tell me I had to know HTML.
Had I failed something big? Now I've gotta learn another language?
Aw shoot, here come those negative what ifs, you know those words you say to yourself, could've, would've, or should've, They are secondary wanderings that cross the landscape of our mind from time to time. You know you can feel something is wrong but don't know exactly what. Is something missing? Am I selling to people who don't want to be "sold to?" hmm...
When I priced my education from the " school of hard knocks," I soon realized, I was going broke and nothing was making enough to pay the expenses! I heard things like you can write that expense off on your taxes, it's a business expense, Buy from your own business, that's going to generate a commission, but, why must I spend $200.00 a month on a ADR for a $55.00 commission when I am also spending $400.00 a month buying leads to call and sell your product, I wound up spending over $500 to earn $55? For 2-3 years? I don't think so! How is that sustainible?
You know, it seems like every call I make, is more like a recruiting call from a telemarketer? Because your product is so expensive, people ask themselves is this a want or a need? If only I didn't have to buy leads! If only I could find people who want to look young forever! No matter what the cost! If only.., if only.., if only, I had known that I could get educated for free while I learn how to help others! I would've started right from here! Not that business in a box!
I learned why it was not my fault! I learned to quiet the clutter in my mind, and how focus on myself, and my unique skills, not my short comings. The neatest thing is anyone will benefit! You don't have to join any other groups when every thing you want to know is only a question away! It all starts with a phone call "where you will learn how to think, not, what to think!"
Every one is welcome, there are no right or wrongs here, no companies are compared here, only what works for you.

What's the difference?
BALLS.....or.... GUTSWHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE???
There is a medical distinction. We've all heard about men having guts or balls, but do you really know the difference between them?
In an effort to keep you informed, the definitions are listed below:
GUTS - Is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the Guts to ask: 'Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?
BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the guys, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the butt and having the Balls to say: 'You're next, Chubby.'
I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions. Medically speaking there is no difference in the outcome. Both result in Death!

Wait and See?

On Tuesday, September 22 the Senate Finance Committee began mark-up on a health care reform bill titled America's Healthy Future Act of 2009. Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY) introduced a provision requiring the bill to be written in actual legislative language and include a cost estimate from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). The amendment also stated that the text of the bill and CBO estimate needed to be available online 72 hours before a final committee vote.
The Finance Committee voted not to include Senator Bunning's amendment but Chairman Max Baucus (D-MT) stated that a detailed summary and CBO estimates would be publicly available before a committee vote. If the bill is approved by the Finance Committee, it will proceed to the full Senate. Before the full Senate votes on the measure, the bill will be posted online. A detailed summary of America's Healthy Future Act is currently available online at the Senate Finance Committee's website.
I have heard from thousands of constituents regarding health care reform and I believe the American public deserves an honest discussion. The consequences of this debate are enormous and reform still has a long way to go. When it does come time to debate reform proposals, I will be sure to approach it thoughtfully, and not rush to complete this important legislation.

Hmm... I still don't like the lack of transparency or your latest vote! What's up with voting on a summary? You still have not proven it is constantutional! Period! There will be NO Mandates and Fines imposed by your out of touch Beaurocracy! period! There I said it!
